Summary

This article will walk you through how to create coupon codes to offer discounts on specific tickets or whole orders.

Where to find coupons

Navigate to the race you would like to apply the coupon on in the Race Office and navigate to the 'Products' section. In the tabs of the page, you will see the 'Coupons' tab:

Once navigated to, you will be prompted with a button to create your first coupon. Click the button and you will be presented with the options you can apply.

Here you are presented firstly with the amount of discount you would like to give. The default option is a percentage off, however by clicking the 'Use fixed amount' text in the top right of the screen, you can offer a fixed amount of discount instead.
You can then choose the code you would like to use, but it must be unique within your coupon options.
Max redemptions dictates the number of times the discount code can be used and the Redeem by section dictates when the code must be used by.

Offer a coupon code to a selected ticket

If you would like to offer a discount for a selected ticket only, you can click on the Advanced Setting text and an extra option will open out:

Begin typing one of your ticket options and the options which match will show for you. You can add the coupon to as many types of ticket as you like. One restriction to this feature is that discount which applies to certain tickets only must be discounted with a percentage rather than a fixed amount. Trying to fulfil the coupon creation will fail if done with a fixed amount.
Lastly, click 'Create coupon' and the coupon will appear in a table along with any other coupons you create.

If you would like to alter any of the tickets after creation, click on the code and the options will reappear for you.

Now share those coupons with your runners so they can take advantage of your deals!
